1. What is your art journey in a capsule?

My art journey started in very early age, I always liked to draw and from that time I wanted to be an artist. After finishing the school, I had academic training spans over six years of study at several renowned post-secondary fine art institutions. After a successful career in professional design for 10 years, fueled by a lifelong passion for art, I was thrilled to announce my move into working as a full-time artist. My relationship with art has been a deeply committed and evolving journey of exploration and expression spanning over four decades. It's not just a profession; it's a lifelong passion that has consistently driven my creative endeavors.

2. How would you define your artistic style?

I started with realistic art, and over years I has experimented with various artistic forms, including cubism, impressionism, abstract. My artistic style can be described as Expressionism. This is a dominant element, with my works conveying strong emotions and a subjective perspective. I really like to use bold bright vibrant colors in all my work. Probably is one of my defining feature, adding emotional depth and visual impact to the paintings.

3. Who are your art influences?

Throughout my art career, different great masters have profoundly influenced my work at various stages, acting as guiding lights and sources of inspiration as my style evolved. In my early exploration phase, when I was first discovering my passion and experimenting with fundamental techniques, I was particularly drawn to the Post- Impressionism, especially Paul Cezanne. As I moved into a phase of developing my technical skills and exploring form, I found myself deeply inspired by the Renaissance masters, like Botticelli and Titian. Later, as I began to seek a more personal and expressive voice, I was captivated by the raw emotion and psychological depth in the work of Vincent van Gogh and diversity of Pablo Picasso. More recently, as I've been focusing on abstract exploration and pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques, I've found immense inspiration in the work of contemporary masters like Gerhard Richter. So, it's been a journey of continuous discovery, with each master offering unique lessons and perspectives that have contributed to the evolution of my artistic identity.

4. Where do you find inspiration for your work?

I draw my inspiration from the world around me and the things that I have seen. Wherever we look, we are always surrounded by astounding beauty – from the simple grace of a blossoming flower to the grandness of our very universe. It is this beauty that I seek to capture and express in my paintings. Also I like to travel and it have been significant sources of inspiration for my cityscapes. To me, abstract art is a way of viewing the world and of expressing the fleeting moments in the only way that they can be expressed.
