I started new year 2026 with abstract painting "Luminance in the Void", 36"x 36"

Focusing on the physical properties of paint and movement, this abstract work utilizes wide-brush techniques and "wet-on-wet" blending to create a sense of centrifugal force. The neutral grey field acts as a stage, allowing the texture and directionality of each stroke to dictate the emotional weight of the piece.

I was really enjoy to start this year with this work. It's time to varnish and moving to the next chapter, to paint oil cityscape painting.
