Abstract painting at its best is a conversation — between the artist and the surface, between control and instinct, between what was intended and what emerged. Development is exactly that: a record of a process, urgent and alive.
Made on heavyweight Canson 185 lb artist paper — the same surface printmakers and serious watercolourists use — the acrylic paint moves freely, building colour and energy across the sheet. The work belongs to Elizabeth's recent abstract series, where she pushes away from representation entirely and lets form and colour carry the full emotional weight.
One of the pleasures of this piece is its flexibility: it reads differently oriented vertically or horizontally. Frame it the way it speaks to you.
Please note: this work is delivered unframed. Standard framing to fit is easy to arrange locally — the 12 × 16 inch size fits many off-the-shelf frames.
This is a one-of-a-kind original. Once it sells, it is gone.
